“The Certificate is a grant of right of burial taken out by Emily Jane Raybould on 31st March 1921 for the princely sum of £1.00. It grants to ‘her, her Heirs and Assigns for ever, the Exclusive Right of
Burial’ in a single plot Section B, number 258/5. That seems to suggest that other family members could be buried there too, but apparently only sufficient was assigned for the three burials as shown. The 2nd interment is Emily Jane herself on 28th August 1942, and the 3rd is Walter on 16th December 1946, but who is the first? Dated 18th March 1921 – could this be Nancy? This would make her 23 when she died. I have no idea when she died or how old she was – do you?”
