Ian has been clearing out his cupboards and drawers and came across this which he asked me to publish…

It is a typewritten note, probably made contemporaneously at a point after 1988 which was when Fred died, and husband Cecil was dead. Ian has written down as it was spoken, but to me it reads a bit too bucolic to be Edna, but the listener heard and recorded it.

It is written at Wood End, Pertenhall in Bedfordshire which was Ian’s abode at the time.
