We broke the habit! We have been catching up every two years since we re-ignited the family, but with Ian not being able to wait ’till next year to introduce us to Joan, and Tim Whorwood expressing an interest in meeting us all, it seemed rude to wait! We had a great day, and we hope Joan felt welcomed, and I know that Tim was touched by the warmth and openness that he was shown.

Those with sharp eyes will notice that Ian is missing – he had an important appointment with Armitage and Shanks, the celebrated Ceramic bathroom accessory manufacturer. A successful meeting apparently as a very relieved Ian joined us for the final sitting.
